Christians Are Not Called To A Life Of Ease, We're Called To A Life Of Spreading The Gospel - Whatever That Looks Like

It can be exhausting just trying to stay on top of everything today.
It feels as though the devil has absolute free reign right now.

The oppression caused by evil - whether through misguided souls being used for evil ends or truly maleficent souls working to actively harm Believers - the feeling of oppression around us can drain us and make us feel impotent and frustrated.

Paul felt this too. He knew that what he had to do to spread the Gospel would be painful and unpleasant at times. He knew that 'race' would be hard and easily abandoned if he didn't keep his eyes on Jesus.

Unbelief is rampant today.

Many have given up their belief, many never had it in the first place and many have bastardized their beliefs to be likeable and make their lives easier. Christians are not called to that.
Christians are called to hard times - even death - in pursuit of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in the spread of that Gospel.

This is why we must never give up no matter what resistance we encounter - no matter the protestations and demonization upon us from the world around us.

Persecution is quickly falling upon us, but we must run our race with endurance and never, never, never give up our fight to spread and live out our Christian principles! Be ENCOURAGED that the Lord will meet our needs when we ask, if we are truly working in His name!
